Founded in 2018 by the artist Julien Fesil and directed by the latter (very early joined by the tattoo artist Odji, as a resident & support to the artistic direction), the Chevalet sans tête workshops, spread over 2 Bordeaux locations as well as a space dedicated to teaching, welcome year-round residents working in the image professions (plastic arts, illustration, comics, artistic direction, 3D/CGI, tattooing, etc.), train apprentices in these disciplines and offer active mediation during one-off events.
